A self-portraitof the photographer looking directly into the camera

Fine art photography you can enjoy everyday.

Art should be for every day– on your walls as a big statement and in small moments like when you glance at the calendar on your way out the door.

Hi! I’m Shannon.

I have been an artist at heart for as long as I can remember. I love to dive into new projects and art mediums head first and see what I can create. The first time I found photography was in high school, back when film cameras were the only option. I loved creating images and developing them in the dark room myself, but film photography can be cost-prohibitive for beginners. The second time I discovered photography was as a mom, after digital cameras had come a long way. It’s much easier to perfect your craft when you aren’t paying for film! I process my images in the digital dark room now, and it brings me as much joy as I found the first time around.

Photography is part of my everyday (really, I’ve done multiple 365 projects where I take a photo every day for a year!) All those photos pile up on my hard drive, where it can be easy to forget them. But I make photographs to enjoy them and transport myself to other places and times, which is why I print them for myself and for others. Some photos, like of my family, won’t mean much to anyone else. But my nature and landscape photography, my photos of places and moments, can evoke a feeling or experience for anyone.

I have lived in multiple places around the United States and my photography reflects the beauty I find where I am at. I have a particular love for the Pacific Northwest, and many of my images reflect this. But you’ll also find images of the American Southwest and other places I have lived or traveled.

About My Art Prints

I print my photos (up to 12×18) at home using a professional grade printer with archival pigment and dye inks designed to help prints maintain their color and quality for up to 300 years. I also print on fine art archival papers that produce exceptional quality prints with beautiful finishes. These papers are a joy to touch and see. Even my everyday objects, calendars and notecards, are printed on beautiful quality papers with excellent inks. Larger prints are printed at a professional print lab with high quality ink and paper as well.

I’m so glad you’ve found OMGbokeh, and I hope you find something you love! If you have any questions or requests, my inbox is always open.
